## Resource

Gavin McKenna, the top NHL draft pick, is set to debut in a Leafs jersey at the Prospect Challenge in Gatineau, leading Team Maple Leafs against Ottawa and Winnipeg. Already lighting up Penn State with 51 points as a freshman and a Hobey Baker finalist, he also led Canada’s World Juniors to bronze. Off-ice, he’s soaking up the team culture by living with John Tavares — whose kids already call him their favorite fishing buddy. Ranked 1 on NHL.com’s prospect list, McKenna admits to the pressure but says he’s ready. At just 18, he’s got the talent, the hype, and the family vibe — don’t miss his first real NHL spotlight.
