## Resource

Alex Formenton’s return to the NHL with Edmonton on a one-year deal has sparked debate, especially after Hockey Canada cleared him — a move insiders like Elliotte Friedman expected, though surprising given the backlash other players faced. Meanwhile, Connor Hellebuyck’s Jets future remains uncertain, with Friedman predicting an inevitable trade soon. Quinn Hughes is taking his time on a Wild extension, refusing pressure and keeping options open. And we honor Barry Melrose, whose bold style and humor left a lasting mark on hockey broadcasting.
