## Resource

Kevin Connauton’s NHL career may be nearing its end, as the veteran defenseman—once a key contributor with over 360 games—now faces an uncertain future after a quiet, limited role with Tucson. Despite being a healthy scratch most of the season and missing playoff action, his leadership, mentorship of young prospects, and off-ice dedication (including hosting Thanksgiving for the team) left a lasting impact. With his contract expired and younger talent rising, Connauton is already exploring officiating, attending combines for the next chapter. The organization honors his contributions, but his season earns a C-minus—acknowledging his legacy while signaling the close of an era.
