## Resource

Macklin Celebrini just inked an eight-year, $99 million deal with the San Jose Sharks — a record-breaking contract that’s actually a savvy discount. He could’ve commanded over $20 million annually but chose to leave money on the table to give the team flexibility, signaling his commitment to winning. GM Mike Grier praised Celebrini’s understanding of cap math and team-building mindset. The Sharks remain financially healthy with $34 million in projected cap space when the deal kicks in, and the contract’s structure — $89.1 million in signing bonuses — makes it lockout-proof and locks him down for good. With key players like Will Smith and Michael Misa looming for extensions or raises, the Sharks are now loaded with young talent. This move marks a pivotal shift: they’re no longer rebuilding — they’re building a contender. Celebrini, feeling the team’s faith, is ready to help bring a Stanley Cup to San Jose. While risks exist with any long-term deal, the Sharks dodged the bigger gamble — letting a generational talent slip away. They got their guy, paid him what he’s worth, and did it while he was willing to win with them. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
