## Resource

The Avalanche’s offense is still loaded with stars like MacKinnon and Necas, but the real test is filling Valeri Nichushkin’s void—no single player can replace his 17-goal, 49-point impact. With Schwartz too old to replicate that role, Colorado’s betting on a committee effort: Landeskog returning strong, plus young guns Svechkov and L’Heureux stepping up. Losing Colton and Drury only deepens the challenge. Joe Sakic’s gamble? Let the group carry the load—and camp will reveal if it works.
