## Resource

Baker Mayfield just signed a massive three-year, $165 million deal with the Buccaneers — putting him among the NFL’s elite QBs on paper. But Sunday’s game against the Bengals exposed the reality: down 21-10 in the first half, he fumbled twice, leading to two touchdowns for the opposition. Critics wasted no time pointing to his ball security issues since 2023 — a stark contrast to his new contract. The deal itself was surprising, originally a prove-it pact, now locking him in through 2029. It’s a classic sports rollercoaster: big money, instant scrutiny, and the real test is how he rebounds.
