## Resource

A Republican county chair in Sussex, New Jersey, is facing serious charges—including aggravated assault with a firearm and endangering a child—after an alleged road rage incident on Millbrook Road. Police say he pointed a gun at another driver who had a child in the car; LaBarbera claims he never pulled the weapon out, only revealed he was armed after being threatened and then called police himself. The other driver says LaBarbera forced him to pull over and pointed the gun, even identifying the firearm. Despite conflicting accounts and mounting pressure, LaBarbera refuses to step down, calling the charges absurd, while some party members urge him to take a break.
