## Resource

Francisco Lindor lit up the scoreboard with a leadoff homer and a jaw-dropping grand slam, as the Mets obliterated the Yankees 12-2 in a historic offensive explosion featuring 13 hits and 6 home runs. Luis Torrens added firepower with a two-run blast and RBI double, sealing the rout. Rookie Zac Thornton dazzled in his Subway Series debut, tossing seven innings and striking out key batters to cap off a dominant performance. Meanwhile, Gerrit Cole faltered again against the Mets, surrendering five runs in under five innings — extending the Yankees’ skid to eight losses in 25 games. The Mets keep rolling since the trade deadline, winning 22 of their last 35. The Yankees look to rebound in Sunday’s finale.
