## Resource

The Yankees honored 9/11 with a moving pre-game ceremony featuring players from the 2001 team, reminding fans how sports unite in hard times. Cody Bellinger crushed a three-run homer—his dad once played for the Yankees and later became a firefighter—giving New York an early edge. Ben Rice hit his 37th homer, Spencer Jones added a run, and Carlos Rodón delivered a stellar six-inning performance with eight strikeouts. The Mets mounted a late rally, loading the bases in the 7th, but the Yankees’ defense held strong. David Bednar closed it out, escaping a bases-loaded jam in the 8th. Final score: Yankees 6, Mets 4—a win that felt extra special, honoring history while celebrating today’s grit. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
