## Resource

The Yankees are eyeing Japanese phenom Kaima Taira, a five-foot-eight right-hander who’s been dominating Nippon Professional Baseball with a 97 mph fastball, a 1.36 ERA, and an 11-4 record. Known for his eight-pitch arsenal and ability to thrive in both starting and relief roles, Taira could be a bullpen game-changer for New York. With his posting window opening in early November, the Yankees’ interest signals a serious long-term rebuild — even as they chase the playoffs this season.
