## Resource

The Nationals are at a crossroads as the trade deadline nears, having already shipped out Connelly Early but holding onto Luis Garcia Jr. and possibly extending Foster Griffin—making them less of a seller than expected. Meanwhile, the Yankees are quietly eyeing center fielder Jacob Young, whose lockdown defense and recent offensive surge—especially vs. lefties—make him a tempting target. With three years left before free agency and Dylan Crews still developing, Washington may prefer to keep Young, but the Yankees’ interest could force a move before August 3rd.
