## Resource

Yankees’ bullpen could get a major boost as Clarke Schmidt, recovering from his second Tommy John surgery, nears return—possibly as a reliever after one final rehab start. Meanwhile, starter Ryan Weathers, sidelined by forearm issues, is throwing well and may rejoin the team in time for the postseason. Both players’ potential returns could solidify a strong bullpen as the Yankees hold onto the top wild card spot and stay close to the Rays in the division.
