## Resource

Aaron Judge is making major strides in his rib injury recovery, already back on the field for batting practice, base running, and outfield work — a huge leap since his June stress fracture sidelined him. Yankees manager Aaron Boone says full baseball activities are underway this week, with a potential return during the upcoming homestand against the Rockies and Mets. While Judge wants to skip rehab and jump straight to the majors, the team is weighing input from coaches, trainers, and himself before deciding. He still needs more live pitching exposure — likely after Monday’s off day — but remains pain-free, just sore as he ramps up. And yes, he’s aware of the emotional weight of potentially returning for the Mets series, marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11 — a day he calls “special and big” for New York and the nation.
