## Resource

Rangers rookie squad returns Sunday in Allentown seeking revenge after a gritty 3-2 loss to the Flyers, with goalie Danai Shaiikov — a 19-year-old QMJHL standout and 2026 third-rounder — set to start despite heading back to Quebec. Defenseman Zeb Lindgren (Sweden, WHL) also expected to play after sitting out. Scratches include unsigned camp invitees Dayne Beuker (scouting buzz) and Michael Suda, plus former draft pick Zakary Karpa on AHL deal. Prospects Gonchar, Thompson, and Mondoux remain sidelined. Rangers’ power play showed promise Saturday; Adam Sykora, last year’s NHL call-up, is motivated for a roster spot. Elsewhere: Vegas locks in captain Mark Stone on an $18M extension through 2029; Nashville linked to Hurricanes’ Nikishin. Puck drops at 5 PM ET.
