## Resource

The Rangers’ goalie depth is heating up as they prepare for an 84-game season, with Igor Shesterkin locked in as starter and a crucial backup spot up for grabs. After trading for veteran Joonas Korpisalo — a proven NHL backup with solid stats from his time in Boston — the team now faces a tough battle between Korpisalo and rookie Dylan Garand, who showed promise but now must fight for the role. Coach Mike Sullivan embraces the competition, believing it will push both goalies to be better and help the team make smarter decisions. With Korpisalo’s experience and Garand’s potential, the Rangers are betting on internal rivalry to build a stronger, more competitive roster.
