## Resource

Devin Williams is making a major comeback milestone—throwing batting practice for the first time since his shoulder strain sidelined him in August. Interim manager Andy Green praised his stuff, but the real test comes Friday morning as the Mets assess his physical response. The goal? Get him back on the mound before the season ends, prioritizing his health over immediate role demands. With Kodai Senga handling closer duties, Williams’ return is all about getting him back in action—even if it’s just a late-inning appearance against the Nationals.
