## Resource

Jonah Tong is heating up, dominating Triple-A with five scoreless innings, seven strikeouts, and just two walks—his best control of the month. His fastball hit 97.9 mph, tying a season high, and he escaped a fourth-inning jam with three straight changeup strikeouts. Throwing 56 strikes in 89 pitches, Tong has allowed two runs or fewer in three straight starts, slashing his July ERA to 3.65. With a strong case for a call-up after the trade deadline—especially if the Mets trade pitching depth—he’s trending upward after a shaky debut in 2025.
