## Resource

The Mets are in a slump, but they’ve got a surprise ace on the mound: Kodai Senga. Facing the Marlins in a four-game series, Senga’s 2024 season has been a puzzler — 8.85 ERA, 0-7 record, and 40+ innings pitched. Despite a strong 2025 campaign, his current form has teams hesitant to trade him, especially with his $75M contract still on the books. The Mets may need to settle for scraps if they want to move him — and fans are left wondering: what’s behind the sudden drop?
