## Resource

Kodai Senga is crushing it as the Mets’ closer, just notching his 7th save with a jaw-dropping 10 straight forkballs in the ninth—two Ks and zero walks. Interim manager Andy Green praised how Senga read the Marlins’ tendencies and adjusted instantly. Since moving to the bullpen in August, Senga’s ERA? A stellar 2.03. Despite saying he prefers starting, he’s thriving in high-leverage roles. Meanwhile, Jared Young got the DH nod due to base-running discomfort and a recent foot injury from a foul ball—hopeful he’ll recover in time. And Brett Baty had to exit early with knee pain after running to first, a tough blow for a Mets lineup already boasting 10 players with double-digit homers this season.
