## Resource

The Mets are pulling the plug on Freddy Peralta’s season, opting to trade him before the deadline to avoid injury risk — his 4.90 ERA hasn’t helped his case. They’re demanding a top prospect, betting on a weak market for starters. Meanwhile, Clay Holmes, still sidelined but aiming to pitch Sunday, is a hot commodity with teams like the Rays and Cubs circling. The bullpen’s reshuffling continues, with veteran Brooks Raley possibly headed out — a key mentor whose growth with the team may now be traded along with his arm.
