## Resource

The Mets are reportedly keeping Marcus Semien around for another season despite his underwhelming 2024 campaign, fueled by the team’s obligation to pay him $46 million over the next two years. With a 64-77 record and playoff hopes fading, GMs are weighing whether to gamble on Semien’s veteran presence or push younger prospects like Rojas and Voit into the starting lineup. Expect a rotation at second base, with Semien potentially splitting time until someone emerges as the everyday starter. Even if he’s demoted, his experience, work ethic, and postseason pedigree make him a valuable clubhouse asset — and trading him might be too costly. The Mets may be stuck with him, but they’re not giving up without seeing what he can still do. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
