## Resource

Mets first baseman Jared Young suffered a scary head injury after a collision with pitcher Nolan McLean near first base during Thursday’s game against the Phillies. The play, which occurred in the sixth inning, left Young needing to be stretchered off the field — though he gave a reassuring thumbs-up to fans before leaving. McLean returned to the mound shaken but able to continue, while Mark Vientos stepped in to fill in at first. Fans and teams are watching closely for updates on Young’s condition.
