## Resource

Rookie center fielder A.J. Ewing is getting a 48-hour reset after a sharp slump since the All-Star break, despite his solid track record against lefties and standout speed and defense. His on-base-plus-slugging has dropped and strikeouts have spiked, prompting manager and player alike to see this as a chance to regroup, recharge, and rediscover his offensive potential. Scouts note these are typical growing pains for young MLB players, and the team remains confident he’ll bounce back stronger — with eyes on him as a key long-term piece.
