## Resource

Adrian Morejon, San Diego’s elite reliever with a lights-out arsenal and 98th percentile fastball, is poised to become one of MLB’s most coveted free agents—potentially landing with the Mets or Tigers. With a 2.60 ERA and 236 strikeouts in his last three seasons, he’s proven he can close games, but whispers suggest he might transition to a starting role, echoing recent trends like Griffin Jax’s move. The Padres must decide: hang onto their gem or risk losing him to a team desperate for rotation depth. Born in Cuba, signed as an amateur in 2016, and ready to dominate either way, Morejon’s value is undeniable—and his next chapter could reshape pitching dynamics across the league.
