## Resource

The Jets are in a kicking showdown between Blake Grupe and Jason Sanders, with head coach Aaron Glenn letting the competition play out before making a call. Grupe, a proven kicker who nailed 11 of 11 field goals last season—including a 60-yarder—for the Colts, is hungry to prove himself after losing his spot there to a former college teammate. Before Indy, he was a reliable force with the Saints, hitting over 70% of his kicks. Though he’s still getting up to speed with the team’s holder and snapper, he’s praised their support and is focused on reps ahead of kickoff. For Grupe, this is a golden chance to show why the Jets made the move—and he’s ready to work hard to earn the job.
