## Resource

The Jets took early hits in their opener with injuries to key players Omar Cooper Jr. and Minkah Fitzpatrick—but both are expected back soon, giving the team a fighting chance. Cooper’s ankle sprain may linger, but he’s likely active by early October; Fitzpatrick’s groin strain sidelines him two to three weeks. With depth tested early, the Jets are moving fast—bringing in veteran Sterling Shepard and promoting Jordan Clark to fill gaps. Cooper showed rookie promise, while Fitzpatrick remains a defensive cornerstone. Facing tough NFC North games ahead, their ability to bounce back from these setbacks could define their season.
