## Resource

Jets fans, brace yourselves—this season’s got bold predictions that could rewrite the record books. Rookie DE David Bailey, drafted second overall, is primed to shatter the rookie sack record with 15+ sacks thanks to his explosive speed. QB Geno Smith, long overdue for a big year, aims to break Joe Namath’s 40-year-old 4,000-yard mark and surpass it by a mile with a loaded offense. Defense? After zero interceptions last year, expect a turnover surge—top 10 in forced takeaways with new talent on board. Tight end Mason Taylor? He’s poised for a breakout leap like Trey McBride, finally giving the Jets a reliable red-zone weapon. And yes, an 8-9 finish isn’t just possible—it’s probable—with the coaching staff staying intact, signaling real progress. The Jets are building something special.
