## Resource

The Jets are betting big on rookie QB Cade Klubnik as their backup to veteran Geno Smith, a bold move that’s not entirely unprecedented in the league. Klubnik, a fourth-round pick, impressed coaches with his poise, consistent improvement, and strong preseason stats—including over 60% completion rate and key scoring drives. Head coach Aaron Glenn praised Klubnik’s calm under pressure and readiness for the role, while acknowledging the team remains open to adding depth if needed. With Klubnik now QB2, the Jets believe he’s prepared to step in without hesitation—and they’re counting on him to deliver when called upon.
