## Resource

Geno Smith delivered a masterclass in Week One, throwing for 215 yards on 19-of-24 passes with zero turnovers and a QB rating over 100—backed by an elite offensive line that protected him like a fortress. At 35, he proved his veteran savvy, making precise, anticipated throws—including a touchdown to Allen Lazard—and averaged nine yards per attempt. Coach Saleh raved about his near 80% completion rate and poise under pressure. His second stint with the Jets has already outshone his first, highlighted by a perfect 7-for-7 preseason drive. The team’s success is built on offseason grit, with key receivers training together in Miami, and even surviving a key injury to Torrence. Geno’s media savvy and leadership elevate the Jets’ ceiling—this performance signals a season of serious potential.
