## Resource

Geno Smith makes history under center for the Jets, breaking a 360-day drought as the third-longest gap for any QB with the same franchise in NFL history. He ignited the offense with a touchdown on the opening drive — the first such play on opening day in 10 years and the first road opening drive TD in 29 years. Smith also threw three passes of 30+ yards, the first time a Jets QB has done that since Aaron Rodgers in 2024, showcasing a new downfield dynamic with receivers like Garrett Wilson and Omar Cooper Jr. On defense, Demario Davis led with eight tackles and helped shut down the Titans’ offense, preventing any explosive plays over 16 yards — a feat not seen since 2019. The team also executed a 12-minute, 19-play, 74-yard drive — the longest in time since the 1970 merger — proving their ball-control discipline. This win was a statement: grit, talent, and cohesion from top to bottom signal a promising season ahead. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
