## Resource

The Jets’ defense just got a major test when Minkah Fitzpatrick went down with a groin injury, sidelining him for two to three weeks. Enter Dane Belton—the versatile rookie safety who’s now thrust into a bigger role. With a history of playing multiple positions and making big plays—including interceptions and forced fumbles—Belton stepped up in Week One, logging 50 snaps, earning high praise from PFF, and even lining up at three different spots. Coach Aaron Glenn commended his poise under pressure. With tougher matchups ahead, Belton’s performance suggests he’s ready to shoulder the load and keep the Jets competitive while Fitzpatrick recovers.
