## Resource

Francisco Alvarez crushed two homers Friday night, joining Mark Vientos, Bo Bichette, and Francisco Lindor in launching the Mets to a 10-run demolition of the Giants — their second straight game with double-digit scoring and fifth home run in one night. Alvarez’s third multi-homer game this season and eighth career blast signals a power resurgence after an August slump, while Vientos added a three-run shot on his return from a broken hand injury. Rafael Devers responded with a homer and five RBIs, his 33 homers this year matching Barry Bonds’ 2004 record for Giants, but Matt Wilkinson couldn’t contain the Mets, surrendering seven runs in just three innings. Nolan McLean earned the win with a career-high 105 pitches over six innings, continuing his strong stretch with a stellar ERA. The Mets offense is firing on all cylinders, and they’ll look to keep rolling Saturday against Anthony Molina and Zac Thornton in what promises to be another heated showdown.
