## Resource

New York City’s health department is urgently tackling a Legionnaires’ disease outbreak in the Bronx, with ten cooling towers—including one near Yankee Stadium—testing positive for Legionella. Nine confirmed cases and one death have been reported in Melrose and Morrisania neighborhoods. Officials are cracking down on building owners, demanding all towers be cleaned by Monday, and hosting a town hall Tuesday to keep residents informed as they race to stop the spread.
