## Resource

New York City schools are poised for a powerful return on September tenth, with Chancellor David C. Banks spotlighting educators as the cornerstone of student success. This year brings a bold new rule: AI tools banned for grades K–8, joining existing cellphone and screen time limits to deepen human-to-human learning. Principals and teachers are buzzing with energy, expanding staff to meet class-size goals and transforming classrooms into spaces of focused connection. As the countdown hits zero, the city’s largest district is ready—teachers prepared, students welcomed, and the mission clear: build stronger bonds, ditch digital distractions, and ignite real engagement in every lesson.
