## Resource

The trial of Danette Colbert and Rickey White heats up as they face charges for drugging and robbing victims—including the tragic death of Super Bowl LIX reporter Adan Manzano. A new witness revealed Colbert stole $130K from him after drugging him at a Bourbon Street bar, prompting his own investigation. Manzano’s death, caused by alcohol and Xanax leading to positional asphyxia, has become the centerpiece of the case. Despite Colbert’s denial, evidence links her to his belongings found at her home and car. The third defendant has accepted a plea deal, and with closing arguments set for tomorrow, the jury prepares to decide the fate of two accused in a chilling crime spree.
