## Resource

On this episode, I sitdown with Joya LaRock-Swafford to discuss her life, her near-death experiences, her UFO encounters, and her passion to highlight the aging process as a vital method for spiritual development. She is a social gerontologist, writer, and the creator of The Second Half Method Her work explores how near-death experiences, UAP encounters, and other transpersonal experiences can illuminate the nature of consciousness and human development. She has undergone two distinct near-death experiences, and witnessed other anomalous events. Her second NDE cured her of an illness that had haunted her for decades, and left her with psychic capacities that continue to unfold. In this interview, she describes what those experiences were like, what she saw, and what she’s learned about the nature of reality, and herself. She also describes her work to restore aging to its proper role in human life as a natural method of spiritual development: The Second-Half Method.
