## Resource

Carter Nelson, a top-rated tight end recruit, could be in for a major role change this season as the Huskers consider moving him to slot receiver to unlock his elite athleticism. After two years of modest receiving stats and limited offensive opportunities, Nelson’s potential is being re-evaluated — especially after a standout high school career and a touchdown on a blocked punt return. With a deep wide receiver corps, the move would be risky, but if executed right, it could turn him into a dynamic playmaker and showcase the Huskers’ commitment to player development. He’s currently rehabbing from injury, and fall camp will be critical to see if he can make the transition and shine in his new role.
