## Resource

Denver Nuggets trade Peyton Watson to Cleveland for future draft picks, sparking fan frustration—but the move was strategic. They were actively pursuing high-impact players like Sixth Man of the Year runner-up Jaime Jaquez Jr. and veteran defender Kris Dunn, but financial constraints made sign-and-trade deals too risky. Instead, landing a 2031 first-round pick and a 2032 second-rounder offered cleaner long-term flexibility without contract complications.
