## Resource

Chet Holmgren is gunning for revenge in the Defensive Player of the Year race, aiming to flip last year’s loss to Victor Wembanyama—but with odds stacked against him at plus twelve hundred, it’s a tall order. Still, his elite defense—averaging nearly two blocks and earning All-NBA Defensive First Team honors—isn’t going away, especially with the added firepower of seven-foot-four center Aday Mara backing him up. While Wembanyama remains the heavy favorite and undefeated in their matchups, Holmgren’s got everything to prove this season—and if he delivers his best yet, Oklahoma City might just have a shot at beating San Antonio in the playoffs too.
