## Resource

The Eastern Conference is tighter than ever, with a dozen teams in playoff contention—and Atlanta’s got a shot to prove the doubters wrong. Despite skepticism over their last season’s run, the Hawks are quietly building depth with CJ McCollum, Lu Dort, and Jock Landale, while developing young stars like Jalen Johnson. Their defense is shaping up strong, but playoff offense and rim protection remain concerns. With more continuity than Miami, Orlando, or Cleveland, Atlanta could be the East’s sneaky dark horse—if their new pieces click and their core keeps growing.
