## Resource

Jeremiah Fears and Derik Queen are poised for breakout sophomore seasons with the Pelicans, but their paths differ from legends Chris Paul and Anthony Davis. Fears, already a reliable scorer and playmaker, must evolve into a true leader by leveraging his defensive attention to create opportunities for teammates. Queen, a dynamic but unpolished rookie, needs to refine his defense and shooting while boosting efficiency and rebounding. The Pelicans aren’t chasing Paul or Davis-level stats—they want Fears to anchor the offense and Queen to become a well-rounded big man, signaling real growth and validating their future potential.
