## Resource

The Hornets just dropped a major move: non-national games will be free on local channel WSOC, but the real story is whether Eric Collins returns as play-by-play voice. Behind-the-scenes setup is still in progress — think building a stable before bringing home a racehorse. With only 30 top-tier broadcast jobs in the league and Collins’ unmatched chemistry with Dell Curry — their friendship is legendary — his return feels inevitable. He’s become Charlotte’s voice, synonymous with the team like Mike Breen is with the Knicks. Financial offers may be on the table, but loyalty, city ties, and that irreplaceable on-air synergy make leaving unthinkable. This isn’t just about broadcasting — it’s about home.
