## Resource

Stephen Curry and the Warriors are eyeing an extension, but timing matters—signing now could cost him a no-trade clause, a powerful tool that would let him veto any trade and control his final NBA destination. While the Warriors have historically respected his wishes, an NTC would lock in that autonomy, letting him block moves to less desirable teams—even if it means sacrificing a better deal. Yet, financial security and injury protection likely trump this small but significant detail. Still, it’s a compelling twist as we await Curry’s next contract move, highlighting how player empowerment continues to evolve in the NBA.
