## Resource

Cleveland’s roster puzzle is tightening as they race to fill their 14th spot after waiving Cam Whitmore — and the only real option left? Signing a draft rights rookie. Khalifa Diop looks like the frontrunner, but Ismael Kamagate may be off the table due to contract issues. That leaves Saliou Niang, the 58th pick in the 2025 Draft, who’s reportedly hiring attorney Don Jackson — known for helping international players gain eligibility — to prep for the 2026-27 season. Niang, averaging over 12 points for Italy, is focused on development, not rushing to the NBA. The Cavs’ final move could hinge on whether he’s still available — or if they’ll find another path.
