## Resource

Tennessee State University is poised to sell 25 acres near John C. Tune Airport for $15.5 million to the Metro Nashville Airport Authority, a move aimed at funding critical student housing and deferred campus maintenance. With urgent financial needs and a turnaround plan underway, the university sees this quick-closing deal as essential to upgrading facilities and stabilizing its finances—proceeds will directly fund capital improvements, freeing up resources for the main campus, with final approval expected from the State Building Commission later this year.
