## Resource

Tennessee’s new universal school choice program lets parents use public funds for private school tuition—up to $7,530 for the upcoming year—though top schools like McCallie charge nearly $67,000, creating a massive gap. This February 2025 launch expands options for families seeking smaller classes, specific values, or unique programs, while reshaping education by lifting financial barriers—even as many elite schools still cost double the average.
