## Resource

A Navy veteran and devoted father of three, Paris Carlock, was fatally struck by a stray bullet while working inventory at a Sam’s Club in Nashville—killed in the middle of his shift, just because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The bullet, fired during a violent argument outside a nearby lounge, tore through a metal wall and ended his life at 55. Known for his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for family and his Dallas Cowboys, Paris leaves behind a grieving community that can’t fathom how such senseless violence could invade a place of routine and safety. His daughter says the horror is that it happened while he was simply doing his job—and that fear now haunts everyday spaces like work, school, and church. Investigators are still searching for answers, and his family urges anyone with information to come forward. They’re turning grief into action: launching a GoFundMe to cover funeral costs, honoring not just a victim—but a hero of everyday decency.
