## Resource

Mastodon’s latest album Marrow Deep is sparking a legal firestorm after the estate of departed guitarist Brent Hinds sues the band, claiming they used his likeness without consent and never properly bought out his share. The lawsuit cites an unaccepted $80K buyout offer and points to subtle imagery of Hinds on the album art. Mastodon denies all wrongdoing, calling the suit “meritless” and vowing to fight back fiercely — while insisting they won’t comment further to honor Brent’s legacy. This messy, public dispute highlights the fragile balance between music, money, and memory in rock bands. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
