## Resource

Jeff Tweedy just dropped a fresh cover of “Wild Connection” by Twisted Teens — and it’s got that unmistakable Tweedy vibe, even if he admits he had to resist imitating lead singer Caspian. He likens covering songs to trying on clothes — sometimes it fits, sometimes you’re just figuring out how to make it sound like yourself. This one? Sounds like a younger version of him. It’s part of his ongoing Substack series, where he’s been sharing deep cuts he loves — including a Valentine’s Day cover of “Love Takes Miles” for his wife. Beyond covers, Wilco is gearing up for their first-ever African tour in Marrakech next March, following the release of “Cousin” and the “Hot Sun Cool Shroud” EP. Tweedy’s also busy solo — his triple album “Twilight Override” packed 30 tracks — and he’s even made a New York Times crossword and surprised fans with a Dry Cleaning collab. And yes, he’s so critical of his own past work he can’t even listen to Wilco’s “Shake It Off” anymore — because he knows he could do better now.
