## Resource

Jane Remover walked away from M3F Fest after demanding the removal of Temper City — a band they claimed had ties to the Israel Defense Forces — sparking a fiery debate over artist activism, festival ethics, and the power of political stances in music. When their ultimatum wasn’t met, Jane Remover pulled out, replaced by Flying Lotus, while Temper City remains on the bill. The fallout highlights how deeply politics can ripple through the live music scene — as Temper City continues to rise with viral hits and upcoming Austin City Limits dates, and Jane Remover keeps touring, including a Minneapolis show in September.
